I'm playing through Borderlands on my first play through in co-op with someone and so far this game is very fun and enjoyable to play.  Since I liked to mod games, i've always seen several things that I would like to mod but the game is very good so modding this one will not be to make it better but just because modders like to change things to make it different.  The way this one is set up, it shouldn't be hard to add new maps, areas and quests and even change or modify enemies.  This definitely should be a recommended game to play.

When I finish Fallout 3 I´ll definetly try this game. Some of my friends recomended me to play it because it has a very good multiplayer and If you liked Fallout 3 you can continue with this game and you won´t be disapointed.

Yea, me & my nephew have been playing co-op in Borderlands.  Right now it has a 4 player co-op but i'm going to work on changing that greatly and expand it once I finish the game and begin modding it.

Yes, I am playing a co-op play through with my brother, and I have to say it is probably the most enjoyable co-op shooter I have played so far. The only thing I would say is that it isn't enough of an RPG, although I must admit that I am at a loss as to how they would make the gameplay smooth (as it is now) and introduce greater RPG elements into the game.
