hmm i really dont know if u should make mods for this game when i played the first 20 minutes of the game it was a let down and guns are slow not like mass effect or stalker or borderlands or left 4 dead and the game play is a little wierd to understand but i will play it again and see if i like it then i will tell u about the mods and if i didnt then u should not bother urself doing any mods and oh about stalker call of pripyat i want actually two things an english patch cause the game is in another language if u ahd played it and a couple of mod links if u have
I was fine with the slow game play of RE5 and how the game was extremely easy. I was not ok with the fact that the game could easily be beaten in 4 hours, and 4 hours is including doing everything that can be done in a play through so that was really disappointing to me. I've tried out one of the stalker games before but i'm not that into first person shooters. I usually prefer rpg, adventure and tactical shooters but very few shooters. Most shooters are just nothing but shooting and rarely involve anything interesting but games like mass effect 1 and 2, they bring a lot of life into the game with the rpg elements and so the shooting parts actually have a purpose so it's good I think.
I doubt i'll ever get to play the left 4 dead games since last I checked they were only available through steam and i'll never buy a game from steam. I just never would be willing to pay for a game and not have a physical copy of it. Borderlands was fun for the first play through, then the only thing that kept it alive for me was playing online but that didn't last long either before I was beyond bored of that game. It's always going to take more time for the games that I usually mod since most of them involve a lot of game play time. I remember my first play through on dragon age origins, I had around 103 hours in it but I search everything, everywhere and do everything possible at least everything that I find.
It was the same with mass effect 1 and 2. I scanned every planet in both games and talked to every person that could be talked to and went to every corner of every place in the games. All of that takes up a lot of time and then the modding part sometimes is time consuming when trying to figure something out and then testing the mods and on top of that the potential of playing a game through several times. I hope that eventually this forum can have other modders posting their work for games since I know there are plenty of games i'll never mod or play or just not have the time for and some people will. I don't like having to search for things I want for a game so maybe eventually this place will help solve that for myself and others.
As it grows, there will be improvements made but they're not really needed just yet.
